

That said, he's a strong writer with some intriguing ideas if you've the patience to separate the wheat from the chaff (or the points buried within his anecdotes). I'll admit to being hit-or-miss for me on the direction he takes some thing-loved his Doom Patrol & Invisibles, disliked his X-Men, and am still rather ambivalent on his most recent works. As with this author's best works, I know I'll end up buying and rereading this to fully absorb/digest what he's written here. SHORT AND SWEET: This is a good book despite a number of flaws in the telling.
